Why it matters

Swirls and scratches scatter light and make paint look dull and old. Correcting them restores the finish, and it is the right first step before a ceramic coating.

Good to know

  • Run a fingernail across a scratch: if it catches, polishing will improve it but may not remove it.
  • We check the paint first and confirm the price before we start.

Will it remove every scratch?

Swirls and light scratches, yes. Scratches deep enough to catch a fingernail can usually be reduced but not always removed.
